KL East Mall marks its fifth anniversary with a lively month-long celebration featuring festive displays, family activities and community experiences.

Sime Darby Property’s KL East Mall is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a month-long festival of activities, rewards, and community experiences running until 3 January 2026. The campaign doubles as a thank-you to shoppers, tenants, and surrounding neighborhoods that have helped shape the mall’s growth.

In just five years, KL East Mall has evolved into a key lifestyle hub with full occupancy, housing more than 180 tenants and drawing close to one million visitors every month. It has become the anchor destination for KL East, Taman Melati, Taman Melawati, Ampang, and Titiwangsa, serving a population of more than 500,000 residents.

The Main Atrium now features a vibrant anniversary setup, headlined by a three-tier cake installation and creative showcases from brands such as Jaya Grocer, Camp5, Decathlon, Bayu Somerset, and Montigo. The visual experience sets the tone for a season that blends celebration with exploration.

Shoppers are rewarded throughout the EPIC 5 celebration with exclusive gifts, vouchers and prizes for every tier of spending

Throughout November, shoppers are rewarded for their spending. Those who spend a minimum of RM400 in a single receipt can redeem a BRYKS blind box and tenant vouchers, while those who spend RM800 or more qualify for an exclusive Sometime tote bag.

The momentum continues with the EPIC Spend and Win contest, which runs until 3 January 2026. Every RM500 spent in a single receipt earns one entry into the lucky draw. Prizes range from weekly rewards to ten-second prizes featuring premium tech, lifestyle devices, and gold treats. Two grand prize winners will receive a pair of return flights to Taipei, along with RM10,000 in KL East Mall shopping vouchers each.

Shoppers of all ages enjoy hands-on activities through KL East Mall’s interactive weekend workshops, from sand art to face painting and charm-making sessions.

Weekends throughout the campaign carry an added layer of excitement with interactive workshops for all ages, including Sand Art Painting, Face Painting, and Phone Charm sessions. These activities reinforce the mall’s positioning as a family-friendly destination and community hub.

KL East Mall continues to broaden its appeal through its mix of dining, retail, and leisure offerings. Visitors can enjoy local and international dining favorites such as A’ Decade, Café Chef Wan, Dolly Dim Sum, Galah Gala Seafood Restaurant, Kenny Hills Bakers, Serai, K Fry Urban Korean, Ole-Ole Bali and Sukiya. The fashion and lifestyle mix includes H&M, MUJI, Calaqisya, KHATAM, and Zora Designers. Recreational options such as GSC, the Blue Ice-Skating Rink, Camp5, and Jungle Gym strengthen the mall’s all-in-one value proposition.

Beyond retail, KL East Mall has cemented its role as a platform for arts and culture. This year’s highlights include the Yayasan Sime Darby Arts Festival and a Kraftangan Malaysia exhibition that celebrates local craftsmanship, alongside other community-centric programs.

Camp5 among many other brands adds to the excitement with an engaging showcase that brings the spirit of adventure to KL East Mall’s fifth anniversary celebration.

The EPIC 5 Campaign commemorates five years of shared experiences and reflects the mall’s appreciation for the communities that have supported its journey. With a strong tenant mix, growing footfall and consistent engagement initiatives, KL East Mall continues to position itself as a catalyst for lifestyle and community development.
