The Malaysia Gifts Fair 2025 opened today at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, marking its 15th anniversary with a record-setting edition. Organized by the Malaysian Gifts & Premium Association (MGPA), the event has attracted more than 16,000 visitors, making it the largest trade fair of its kind in Malaysia and the ASEAN region. It has also earned official recognition from both the Malaysia Book of Records and ASEAN RECORDS.

With the theme “Sustainable Innovation, Gifts for Tomorrow,” this year’s fair shines a spotlight on eco-friendly and creatively designed gift solutions. Over 300 booths are showcasing more than 50,000 products, ranging from reusable items and green packaging to custom business gifts and stylish lifestyle merchandise.

MGPA President Mr. Ivan Loo said during the opening, “Over the past 15 years, the Malaysia Gifts Fair has evolved from a local exhibition into ASEAN’s premier platform for the gifts and premium market. This year, we proudly take it a step further by leading the industry toward a sustainable and responsible future.”

Organising Chairman Mr. Alex Chai added, “The Malaysia Gifts Fair 2025 is more than just an event — it’s a movement. We’re proud to create a platform where businesses can showcase their commitment to sustainable innovation and drive meaningful change across the industry.

After drawing nearly 14,000 attendees in 2024, this year’s event is aiming even higher, welcoming buyers and business leaders from across Malaysia and international markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, India, and Bangladesh. Covering more than 58,000 square feet, the 2025 fair features 301 booths and 22 product categories.

Notable highlights include the launch of the ASEAN Gifts & Crafts Federation (AGCF) and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote stronger collaboration across ASEAN countries in the gifts and crafts sector.

MGPA has already set its sights on an even larger edition in 2026, targeting up to 400 booths and expanded exhibition space to accommodate new ideas and growing demand.
