
Superbrands Malaysia 2025 Award Certificates
Superbrands Malaysia marked its 17th edition with a gala celebration spotlighting 42 brands that continue to set the benchmark for excellence, value, and market leadership. This year’s cohort reflects the growing strength of Malaysian brands, many of which are expanding beyond domestic consumer markets and gaining recognition on the global stage.
Recognized as a significant achievement for companies in the branding and corporate arena, the Superbrands Malaysia Awards bring together CEOs, managing directors, marketing leaders, and senior PR executives for an evening dedicated to honoring outstanding brand performance. The platform enables brands to showcase their achievements, leverage the Superbrands seal across marketing communications, and feature their stories in the official Superbrands reference book and digital channels.

The 2025 ceremony, hosted at M Resort Bukit Kiara, welcomed guest of honor Mr. K. Haridas, former Chair of the Business Ethics Institute of Malaysia (BEIM) and current President of the Council of Management of the Association for the Promotion of Higher Education in Malaysia (APHEM). The event also featured VIP guest Mahadir Mohamed Arifin (Mahamahu) and special guest Encik Remee Yaakub, Senior Director for Strategic Planning at MATRADE.
Superbrands Malaysia Director Mike English opened the evening by highlighting the enduring value of strong brand belief. “Tonight we celebrate brilliance and brands that have earned trust, inspired loyalty and turned ordinary products into extraordinary stories. A brand begins with belief, and belief is born inside your own walls long before it reaches the outside world!” he said.
Guest of honor Mr. Haridas emphasized the deeper meaning behind the recognition, stating:
“Tonight is not merely a recognition of successful marketing – it is a tribute to the art and soul of branding. All your efforts that have gone into conceptualising, testing, improving and finally giving birth to the brand – a realisation taking effect that has to be admired and respected.”

He also reflected on the evolving realities of brand leadership in a hyperconnected world.
“Social media today has given brands both wings and mirrors – wings to soar across borders and mirrors that reflect every action, good or bad, instantly. This is where ethics, transparency and sincerity of purpose are increasingly becoming the new pillars of branding success. The best brands are not those that shout the loudest but those that speak the truth, act responsibly and listen deeply.”
Mike English reinforced the importance of internal alignment in brand-building.
“Tonight, as we celebrate the best of branding, let’s remember that the greatest campaigns in the world cannot save a brand that its own people do not believe in. But when your team becomes your loudest cheerleaders, your most passionate advocates, your living and breathing proof – then your brand doesn’t just live in the marketplace. It lives in hearts.”
In a final message to emerging and future brands, Mr. Haridas said: “I would like to outline six critical factors for consideration that could assist new brands to evolve and endure: define your purpose, be authentic, deliver consistently, listen to what your audience wants, embrace technology and innovation yet maintain your human touch, build integrity into your DNA and create reputation that lasts.”
Superbrands Malaysia 2025 not only honored the country’s top-performing brands but also reinforces the rising sophistication, responsibility, and ambition shaping Malaysia’s brand landscape today.
