Resorts World Genting is set to close the year with two signature countdown celebrations, inviting guests to usher in Christmas and the New Year with large-scale live entertainment at the Arena of Stars. Taking place on December 24 and December 31, the festive events combine music, dance, and immersive production, with a live feed extended to Madison Square for guests who prefer an outdoor viewing experience.

The Christmas Eve countdown will be hosted by Emcee Khye, whose energetic and engaging style anchors a lineup featuring three familiar Malaysian voices. Vanessa Reynauld brings her powerful vocals and rising profile in the local music scene, Ronnie Jupiter delivers high-spirited performances marked by charisma and crowd connection, while Angela Ong adds depth with her expressive and soulful delivery. The night unfolds with dancers, DJs, and performers before returning to the trio for featured sets and a festive medley of iconic Christmas songs. The celebration culminates in a high-energy countdown led by DJ Blink, complete with pyrotechnics, lasers, and 3D visuals.
New Year’s Eve shifts the tempo higher under the lead of Emcee Dr Shaun Stephen, known for his dynamic stage presence and ability to command large audiences. The lineup features ManHanD, a local Canto-rap crew recognized for their lyricism and distinctive style, alongside Juztin Lan, KAIA Lee, and Tan Yin Ern, who bring a blend of vocal strength and emotional resonance to the stage. Headlining the night is Singapore-based DJ Wukong, whose festival-style sets and high-intensity energy drive the countdown into the final moments of the year, followed by an after-party set in the early hours of the new year.
Both countdown events are ticketed with free seating and admission. Tickets may be redeemed via the PMP campaign or collected at the redemption counter on event day, subject to availability and on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the Arena of Stars reaches full capacity, guests will be redirected to Madison Square to enjoy the live feed. Last entry is at 11.00pm, subject to operational requirements.

Buffet lunch will also be available on December 25 and January 1, priced at RM108 per adult and RM68 per child.
For a more elevated dining experience, Park Avenue Restaurant presents curated festive menus, including a four-course dinner priced at RM250 per person on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and a three-course New Year’s Eve menu at RM250 per person, each paired with a festive cocktail or mocktail. Trattoria Il Lago joins the season with Christmas and New Year set menus priced at RM118 per set, offering a cozy pre-countdown dining option.
