Health Summit Asia 2026 (HSA2026) officially opened today at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, uniting the regional healthcare and wellness industries. With 10,000 delegates, over 100 exhibitors, and more than 40 global speakers expected, the three-day summit targets generating up to RM1.5 billion in commercial opportunities across ASEAN’s healthcare and wellness economy.
The Opening Ceremony was graced by Deputy Minister of Health Malaysia, YB Dato’ Hajjah Hanifah Hajar Taib, underscoring Malaysia’s growing role as a hub for medical innovation.
“The Government continues to reinforce its commitment to healthcare with significant investments, which are tangible steps towards a healthcare system that is future-ready, inclusive, and centred on people. By bringing together leaders in medicine, wellness, and digital innovation, HSA2026 embodies our belief that progress is achieved not in isolation, but through collaboration in a globalized world. I am confident that this summit will resonate with our broader national agenda, where healthcare is not only about treatment, but about prevention, resilience, and readiness for the future,” said YB Dato’ Hajjah Hanifah.
Driven by AI-enabled diagnostics, MedTech innovation, and a surging medical tourism sector, Malaysia’s healthcare landscape is transforming rapidly. Organized by Qube Integrated Malaysia alongside Green Wellness Malaysia, HSA2026 combines SEACare, a premier B2B healthcare platform, with the International Wellness Expo to capture the regional shift toward preventive, holistic care.
“Building on SEACare’s legacy as Southeast Asia’s premier healthcare and pharma platform, we are pleased to collaborate with the International Wellness Expo to launch Health Summit Asia 2026 — expanding beyond B2B healthcare into B2B wellness on a broader scale. This transformation reflects the growing convergence of healthcare and wellness, positioning HSA2026 as Asia’s premier platform for integrated solutions, dialogue, and sustainable progress across the region’s healthcare economy,” said Richard Teo, Executive Chairman of Qube Integrated Malaysia.
The summit addresses this convergence through a dual-track format covering Medtech and Wellness, positioning Malaysia at the forefront of ASEAN’s health transformation.
“Wellness should not begin only after illness occurs. It must begin much earlier — with awareness, prevention, informed choices, and access to the right options at every stage of life. Healthcare is always essential to save lives, but the future of health needs to bring together medical expertise, preventive care, digital innovation, wellness solutions, and human‑centred support. That is precisely why Health Summit Asia 2026 was created — to open more options, more solutions, and more meaningful dialogue for better health,” said Datin Dorph Peng, Founder and CEO of Green Wellness Malaysia.
