Singer, Actress, Music Writer, Model and Social Media Super Star (Instagram with 1.5 mil followers), Daiyan Trisha has just revealed her original new single, ‘Penat’, which tells a story of a broken heart. Produced by Kuizz, the song is titled ‘Penat’ because it symbolizes the weight of the word. It also means that when we are confronted with emotions that are too deep and heavy, we are only able to be alone and cry while whispering, “I’m tired”.

Using her talent as a lyricist, this song tells about many situations that can ruin a person’s day such as a painful breakup, endless waiting, the departure of a loved one and so on.  Daiyan Trisha explained, “When we go through a moment of heartbreak, all the contents of the world slowly cease. We become stiff as if everything no longer holds any meaning whatsoever. We seem to be in a state of constant tiredness forever, with endless pain”.

The video, which has their special features, has been directed by Jasmine Wong.  The production was done in a room which told the story of a girl who was exhausted of going through her broken love story and at the same time had to face various twists and turns of her life with the current situation, while still waiting for her lover to return.

The official lyric video and its official audio of ‘Penat’ are now available on all digital streaming platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, Joox, KKBOX, Deezer and Warner Music Malaysia’s YouTube channel.
