Tropicana signs with 3 global brands

Tropicana Corporation Berhad (“Tropicana”) has announced the signing of its first residential project with Banyan Group to develop Skypark Kepler, a freehold branded residence in Johor. This landmark development, featuring smart city living and premium fittings, marks the first collaboration with Banyan Group and partners Samsung and Kohler.

Skypark Kepler is part of Tropicana’s RM80 billion Lido Waterfront Boulevard (“LIDO”) township, which spans 163 acres. The branded residential development, set to be the most luxurious high-rise in Johor, offers smart home features, green-certified buildings, and waterfront views. The project aligns with Tropicana’s strategy to cater to young professionals, families, and investors seeking a high-end, sustainable lifestyle.

Datuk Mark Rozario, Group CEO of Tropicana, shared, “Skypark Kepler offers a transformative living experience with smart-city conveniences and luxury. We’re proud to collaborate with Banyan Group, Samsung, and Kohler to bring this innovative project to life.”

LIDO, Tropicana’s crown jewel, is designed to be a hub for residential, commercial, wellness, and recreational offerings. With proximity to the RTS link, freehold zoning, and a 2.5km waterfront boardwalk, it promises to attract investors and lifestyle-driven buyers, particularly from Singapore. “Our positive preview in Singapore drew over 600 visitors,” Rozario added, “and we believe the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone will further boost economic cooperation and growth.”

Stuart Reading, Managing Director, Property Development of Banyan Group, said, “We are excited to partner with Tropicana on Skypark Kepler, our first property in Malaysia. This addition to our Skypark portfolio strengthens our global footprint and offers exclusive benefits through the Banyan Sanctuary Club and Banyan Living rental services.”

In addition, Skypark Kepler features luxury home fittings from Samsung and Kohler. “Samsung’s Bespoke AI appliances, integrated with the Moorgen smart home system, enhance the smart home experience for Skypark Kepler residents,” said Charles Kim, President of Samsung Malaysia Electronics. “This collaboration will offer homeowners an intuitive, connected living environment.”

Jamie Chow, Country Manager of Kohler K&B Malaysia, emphasized the partnership’s alignment with Kohler’s mission: “We are excited to create innovative and stylish environments at Skypark Kepler, helping residents live gracious, healthy, and sustainable lives.”

Skypark Kepler consists of two 54-storey towers offering 1,596 fully furnished units, ranging from 463 sq ft to 807 sq ft, priced from RM790,000. The development also includes over 40 facilities and is designed with sustainability in mind, featuring 5G infrastructure, EV charging stations, rainwater harvesting, and energy-efficient fixtures.

Tropicana’s ESG commitment is reflected in the green building features and added value for property purchasers, including Tropicana T Privilege membership and rewards. Additionally, buyers can enjoy exclusive access to the Banyan Sanctuary Club and the Banyan Living rental program, which provides comprehensive management services and potential for higher rental returns.
