THE 27TH EDITION OF THE METALTECH & AUTOMEX EXHIBITION EMBRACES THE FUTURE OF CUTTING-EDGE MANUFACTURING

Informa Markets – a B2B platform for industries and specialist markets to trade, innovate and grow, played host to the 27th edition of its METALTECH & AUTOMEX exhibitions last week from 31 May 2023 – 3 June 2023 at the Malaysia International Trade and Convention Center (MITEC), in Kuala Lumpur; officiated by YBrs. Puan Sharimahton binti Mat Saleh, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Export Acceleration), of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE).

The event welcomed top machinery and automation industry players from over 13 countries, with over 15,000 trade buyers and visitors from 40 countries. Giving a glimpse into the future of manufacturing automation, 5 national pavilions were also featured at the event from China, Germany, Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan.

Mr. Gerard Leeuwenburgh, Country General Manager of Informa Markets Malaysia said, “To ensure global competitiveness, all modern sustainable manufacturing companies need to harness cutting-end new technology to optimize productivity and elevate operational efficiency to a new height. Attendees were provided with a jam pack three-day slate of industry-lead seminars that offered valuable industry insights for professionals in the field.  In addition to this, they were able to witness product launches from Taiwanese companies, and the latest advanced innovations by HIWIN, Hsin Juang Lung, Joen Lih, Shin-Yain (SYIC), Syntec, and Tongtai that would help in furthering high-accuracy metalworking, precise surface grinding, efficient workplace clamping and automating marking.
