The 26th Asian Television Awards (ATA) has announced that they are now open for entries as they explore the Asia Pacific’s best talents in the broadcast and content markets in 2021. The 26th ATA will see two significant changes, the first being that the awards ceremony is shifted back to the December window and will take place from 10-12 December 2021.

The second change that we will be seeing is that with the growth of short videos and social content, the ATA will be expanding the Awards to include Professionally Generated Content (PGC) below 5 mins and embrace Influencer talents. This will apply to professional short videos on Tik Tok, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, Weibo, Bilibili, and Kuaishou, both by independent Creators and through Multi-Channel Network operators (MCN).

The ATA was proud to announce that for 2021, the 26th Asian Television Awards has expanded its broadcast networks to air the awards ceremony in Malaysia, Korea, India, Maldives, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Singapore, to allow fans from across the Asia Pacific to cheer on their favorite superstars from their homes.
