The Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) recently collaborated with China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) Secretariat and the China Construction Bank (CCB) in jointly organizing the 4th Malaysia-China B2B Business Matching Session 2022. The collaboration kickstarted the 19th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) 2022 which was held from 16 to 19 September 2022 in Nanning, China.

CCB utilized their clientele in China to invite more than 200 foreign buyers to meet with over 50 Malaysian companies through more than 300 business meetings. These business meetings were pre-arranged to be held virtually from 13 to 15 September on CCB’s digital matching platform known as CCB Matchplus.

Through the strong network of CCB, MATRADE had been able to collaborate with CCB in facilitating market access of Malaysian companies into China for the past three years. The collaboration aimed to connect the Malaysian companies and explore business opportunities with Chinese enterprises comprising importers, exporters and potential investors.
