Organized by the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) and the Malaysian Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Association (MACRA), the first edition of the Malaysia Engineering Exhibition and Conference (ENGINEER) was launched at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, alongside the first Air-conditioning Refrigeration and Ventilation Expo (MARVEX) from the 16 March 2022 to 19 March 2022. During the exhibition, the organizers introduced the all-new frontier for technological solutions by IEM and MACRA as an initiative to revive the industry after two years of the pandemic.

President of Malaysia trade and lifestyle exhibition, C.I.S, Dato’ Vincent Lim, commenced the exhibition by stating, “As Malaysia declares to move into an endemic phase, it is time that the engineers and all the industry stakeholders of the engineering and ACMV&R gather to Connect, Experience, Learn, Discover, and Celebrate in multiple business events across the 4-day exhibition and conference.”

“ENGINEER and MARVEX also play a significant role in kick-starting the economy. Although these two events are at a national level this year, we hope that they will bring in like-minded international exhibitors, industry professionals, specifiers, traders, and buyers next year,” added Dato’ Vincent.

President of MACRA, Peter Tan, stated, “Across four days of the exhibition, MARVEX will present you with award-winning solutions brought in by some of our exhibitors that contribute to a greener environment. They are known to solve problems such as Urban Heat Island effects that are largely caused by the hot air from air-cond compressors, one of the key issues in global warming.”
