Malaysian author Dato’ Mohammad Medan bin Abdullah, Chief Executive Office of Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad, recently published the “Poems From The Jungle Boy” which highlights life in the interior of Sarawak by expressing the beauty of Sarawak with the travel escapades across various countries in the world.
Priced at RM29.90, the book was written in English, Malay, and the Kelabit dialect. The poetry also visualized the author’s experiences in the longhouse as he indulged himself by being one with nature.
The law graduate from the University of Malaya started as a trainee legal officer in Petronas, where he climbed the corporate ladder to lead the company to the international level. With his expertise, Dato’ Mohammad held various positions in many oil and gas companies in Malaysia, the United Kingdom, and Singapore.
