Miss CosmoWorld celebrated a night of glamor and beauty at its Miss CosmoWorld Malaysia 2022 Grand Finals last night at The Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur. The event was attended by high esteemed VIPS and guests who showed their support and anticipation for the 18 delegates who have made it as finalists and find out who will be the one representing Malaysia at the World Finals this coming 30 November 2022.
The 18 contestants were judged through a series of questions by a 12-member jury made up of industry professionals. The crowd was enchanted by multiple performances by the contestants showing that their talents and professionalism throughout the night.
Angela Looi, winner of Miss CosmoWorld Malaysia 2022
After a tough decision making process, Angela Looi, a 24-year-old content creator and model from Perak was crowned victorious as Miss CosmoWorld Malaysia 2022, taking home a crown, a sash, a bouquet and cash & prizes worth RM259,474. Angela Looi expressed her excitement by sharing, “This was unexpected, I’m so happy and honored to be here.”
The Runner-Up spot was taken up by Rachel Tee Hui Xin, a 22-year-old public relations strategist from Melaka while the 2nd Runner-Up spot was secured by Natalie Ang Ai Dee, a 23-year-old UCSI biochemistry undergraduate from Penang, netting both Tee and Ang, RM 147,731 and RM 100,196 respectively in cash and prizes. Ang also picked up the Miss Talent subsidiary title.

The homegrown international pageant founded and organized by Carrie Lee of CL Skin Sdn Bhd, advocates and promotes the idea that women should be independent and possess good leadership qualities. The pageant also promotes the fact that women should not only be identified as beautiful through their appearance but those who are enhanced with confidence, great health and a mentality that shines from within. In conjunction with the grand final, Lee also seized the opportunity to promote vegetarianism and a healthy lifestyle by serving only vegetarian meals to all attendees during the grand final, with the wish that everyone would enjoy great health and be full of vitality.
