KL Wellness City (KLWC), the master township developer focusing on wellness and healthcare, hosted its Raya Open House yesterday,  following the launch of the “Kembali Ke Nostalgia” campaign last month.

The event hosted esteemed guests such as Mohd Roslan Abdullah from Tourism Malaysia (TM) who represented TM’s Director-General, Mr. Manoharan Periasamy, and Dr. Mohamed Ali Abu Bakar, CEO of the Malaysian Healthcare Travel Council, highlighting the significance of healthcare and wellness within the community. Their presence echoed KLWC’s mission to position Malaysia as a top tourist destination and showcase excellence in healthcare and wellness services.

Datuk Seri Vincent Tiew, KLWC’s executive director responsible for branding, sales, and marketing, emphasized, “Dr. Mohamed Ali’s attendance not only adds prestige to our celebration but also underscores our dedication to promoting medical tourism and improving healthcare services for both locals and international visitors.”

Guests enjoyed various activities and entertainment, including live performances by the 3PCS Busker Band and a diverse array of traditional local delicacies available at live food stations and an all-day buffet.

To enrich the festive atmosphere, attendees had the chance to capture memorable moments against the backdrop of traditional Malay decor, known as “Rumah Panggung.”

In the spirit of giving and in line with the “Kembali Ke Nostalgia” campaign, KLWC distributed duit Raya to over 100 children from five homes, including the Shelter Home For Children, Lighthouse Children Welfare Home Association in KL & Selangor, Pusat Jagaan Penyayang Nur Iman KL, Ti-Ratana Welfare Society, and Yayasan Sunbeams Home. Each orphanage received RM2,000, totaling RM10,000, demonstrating KLWC’s commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need and spreading joy during the festive season.

“This gathering signifies a beautiful fusion of our cultural heritage and community spirit. It’s a chance to form meaningful connections and create enduring memories together. We extend the joy of the festive season to all who join us,” Tiew remarked.

In addition to the festivities, guests can participate in the duit Raya lucky draw until April 30 for an opportunity to win cash rebate vouchers and special free gifts by engaging with KLWC on social media platforms.
