Impact Malaysia reinitiated their campaign to provide easy logistics support to those in need ever since the first implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO) in March 2020. These services are provided completely for free to encourage individuals and organizations to increase the aid supplies capacity to be provided to the beneficiaries.
As before, through the #ImpactTolongHantar (ITH) 2.0 campaign, Impact Malaysia will be assisting individuals, private companies, welfare organizations, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in delivering food and essential supplies to communities affected by MCO 2.0 as well as the victims of the recent flooding.
“We ensure that all aspects of the ITH implementation comply with the SOP set forth by the Department of Social Welfare (JKMN) and the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM) for distribution of supplies to the targeted beneficiaries,” said Mastura M. Rashid, Project Manager of #ImpactTolongHantar, Impact Malaysia.
Last year, ITH partnered with 8 delivery partners and 43 organizations to deliver aids and PPE to 50,016 individuals or 15,498 households. This initiative has also benefited 9,990 frontliners, 1,198 students, and 77 welfare homes throughout Malaysia.
