Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“CANON”) announces the appointment of Zhang Hongtu (Hunter) as the Director of the Imaging Communications Business (ICB) Division. With this new leadership, Canon plans to enhance its corporate marketing strategy, develop new markets as well as increase its market share to strengthen its position as the global leader in photographic and digital imaging solutions. Zhang will also be spearheading the delivery of a seamless customer experience for both online and offline shopping as he leads the division.

Prior to this appointment, Zhang was the Director of the ICB division at Canon China since 2016, responsible for strategizing the team, identifying key markets and enhancing Canon’s market position in China. He was a pioneer in developing and promoting e-Commerce as a key channel in China for Canon China and grew the online business via its official e-Commerce sites.
