Handover ceremony between MRA and PRM.
The Malaysia Retailers Association (MRA), in partnership with Pertubuhan Rahmah Madani (PRM), officially launched its first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative today with a Handover Ceremony at MRA’s headquarters in Bangsar. This initiative aims to provide essential food baskets to families in Pahang and Terengganu who have been severely impacted by recent floods. Thanks to the generous support of MRA members, numerous food baskets worth RM100 each were donated to PRM. These contributions reflect the collective commitment of the retail industry to assisting communities in need.
En Aidil Haryman Bin Mat Nor, Special Officer to YB Senator Dr Hajah Fuziah binti Salleh, Chairman and Founder & Trustee of Yayasan Madani, attended the ceremony and officiated the collaboration between PRM and MRA in delivering meaningful aid to flood victims.
During the press conference, Datuk Andrew Lim Tatt Keong, J.P., President of MRA, stated, “This inaugural CSR initiative underscores MRA’s commitment to fostering goodwill across Malaysian communities. We are proud to collaborate with PRM to create a tangible impact, and we hope this marks the beginning of many more CSR efforts.”
