Music and entertainment streaming platform, JOOX, hosts an exclusive cross-over cover and remixes of the hot new single by Alan Walker, “Believers”, featuring local artists and producers from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Hong Kong. To kick things off, JOOX will be streaming a unique cover-remix of the “Believers” featuring, 23-year-old Malaysian actor, singer, and songwriter, Naim Daniel.
“The best part of this cover is that we were allowed to tweak it with flavor that fits our Malaysian music lovers’ taste. For example, we added flute elements to give it a “Nusantara” feel and ambiance. I am really excited about this project because this is my first time collaborating with Alan Walker and I could relate to this song because of the current COVID-19 pandemic. I, along with all the youngsters out there who have hopes and big dreams in life, need to hold on because we are currently living in a very tough time, and therefore what we need to do is believe,” said Naim Daniel.
Music producer and global hit-maker Alan Walker said, “I’m so happy that this great line-up of artists wanted to join in on remixing Believers! Working on this project together has been incredibly rewarding, and it’s amazing to see all the different visions and directions they’ve taken the track. I’m inspired by how other artists put their own spin on a track, and they all bring something completely different to the table. I hope that we get to play them live one day!”
With that, JOOX has also launched its new highly interactive Buzz Feature, (#BelieversonBuzz challenge) where users can shoot videos with Alan Walker’s “Believers” remix as the background music, together with the exclusive “Believers” sticker, to stand a chase to win exclusively signed merchandise from Alan Walker himself.
