The Malaysian Chinese Tourism Association (MCTA) drew in crowds from all over Malaysia at its 20th edition of the Malaysia International Travel Mart (MITM Travel Fair) 2023. The exhibition took place from 28 July – 30 July 2023 at the Mid Valley Exhibition Center, with 60 exhibitors and 300 exhibition booths participating in the three-day event.

With different segments of tourism players in the industry including operators, national tourism organizations, travel agents and consumers who’ve promoted their attractive and affordable tour and travel packages to consumers, the fair was projected to attract visitors from all walks of life and generate an estimated gross sale of about RM65mil.
Not only did visitors enjoy affordable and exiting tour packages, but they were also able to participate in competition to win attractive prizes such as international flight tickets, cruise packages and entrance tickets worth a total of RM250,000 with a minimum spend of only RM500 during the three-day fair.

MITM Travel Fair 2023 was made possible with the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture (MOTAC), Taiwan Tourism Bureau, Tourism Promotion Board of Philippines, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Penang Global Tourism, Resort World Cruises, Bank of China, Malaysia Airlines and Merchantade Money.
