Awardee for CHT Awards 2024
The 2024 CHT International Awards, organized by CHTNetwork on June 29, 2024, welcomed over 400 national and international guests, including industry leaders and foreign dignitaries, dressed in their formal best. Celebrating its tenth edition, this unique award ceremony has served as an influential platform for both Malaysian and international award winners for more than a decade.
Held biennially, this year’s black-tie gala, themed “Enchanted Nature,” took place at the luxurious Sunway Resort Hotel in Sunway City, Kuala Lumpur. The event was supported by MATRADE, with AFFIN INVIKTA as the main sponsor. Other sponsors and partners included The Hour Glass, vivo Malaysia, The House of Ceres, Asia Television (ATV) News, and more.

The prestigious ceremony was graced by Tuan Yang Terutama Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Ahmad Fuzi bin Haji Abdul Razak, the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of the State of Penang, who received the CHT International Awards Lifetime Achievement Award. The special VIP guest of the evening was Y.A.M. Tengku Laksamana Selangor, His Highness Prince Sulaiman Shah Al-Haj Ibni Almarhum, His Majesty Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj, of the State of Selangor.
In his welcoming address, Founding President Dato’ Chng Huck Theng remarked, “The CHT International Awards is more than just an award ceremony. Other distinguished dignitaries and guests included the Ambassador of The Royal Embassy of Cambodia to Malaysia, the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Thailand,Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Exports Promotion and Market Access Division, Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), and many more prestigious leaders and organizations.
Young and talented singer, actress, and television host Farisha Asmadi captivated the audience with her powerful vocals during the dinner. As is tradition, Dato Chng conducted a silent auction, with part of the proceeds going to charity. The evening concluded with a spectacular dance performance by the highly accomplished dancer and performer Chng Tian Ying, whose mesmerizing movements brought the event to a memorable close.
