THE Shell Motorsport Collection has returned with seven new Bluetooth-controlled high-performance car models to choose from; the Ferrari SF90 F1, BMW M4 Motorsport, Nissan Formula E Gen 2 Car, Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC, Shell V-Power Racing Team Ford Mustang GT, Team Penske Indycar, and Nascar Team Penske Ford Mustang GT.
Ms Seow Lee Ming, General Manager of Mobility Shell Malaysia said, “Shell was there alongside the earliest motorsport pioneers and had an embedded history within motorsport. The latest collection celebrates some of the best race cars that redefined the racing world, such as the Hyundai i20 hybrid rally car and Team Penske’s Indycar. Our customers have always been at the heart of our business. We want them to have an opportunity to create unforgettable memories with their family and friends every time they stop at Shell.”
Each bluetooth controlled car is equipped with an electric engine that can be controlled by the player’s smartphone through the Shell Racing free app. The models also come with a proprietary smart battery that integrates a Bluetooth chip within a rechargeable lithium cell; which was developed in partnership with BrandBase and 12 right holders such as Ferrari, BMW, Hyundai, Ford and Nissan.
Customers are able to purchase the Motorsport Collectors box alone without the models at RM80 when they pump Shell V-Power Racing fuel for RM80 in a single receipt. Alternatively, the car models and the smart Bluetooth battery are available at RM30 each with a minimum fuel purchase of RM50 to complete the collection. Those who missed the one-car weekly launch can try their luck to grab these limited-edition models at the public event while stocks last.
