The grand opening was attended by prominent figures, including Malaysia’s Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI) Minister, YB Chang Lih Kang. In his keynote address, he expressed heartfelt gratitude for being part of this milestone event. He remarked, “Pixlr’s innovative AI tools not only elevate the design industry but also contribute to our vision of transforming Malaysia into a global digital economy leader. This launch also signifies the creation of high-quality jobs, providing numerous opportunities for Malaysians to contribute to our burgeoning tech industry.”
Pixlr’s significant contribution to community programmes, such as training 1,000 teachers under the Ministry of Education Malaysia and AI training for MOSTI and youths, is creating a forward-thinking society and supporting the AI ecosystem. “I am optimistic about Pixlr driving us towards innovation and excellence. The government remains supportive of fostering tech advancements. I congratulate Pixlr on their new office and look forward to working together for a brighter future,” said Minister Chang.

Since its inception, Pixlr has championed accessible design. CEO Warren Leow, also a member of the National Digital Economy Council (MED4IRN), affirmed, “We moved to Sunway Geo due to its great infrastructure, access to universities, and talent. It’s a natural step towards a bigger presence in tech, building more world-class businesses together.”
