The HAPA® Awards Malaysia Series made a comeback for 2023-2024, attracting more than 700 attendees to the gala dinner held at One World Hotel. The event was graced by YB Khairul Firdaus Akbar Khan, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture (MOTAC), representing the Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Dato’ Seri Tiong King Sing. This edition of the awards was jointly organized by HAPA® Group and Taylor’s University, marking their first collaboration.
Since its establishment in 2002, the HAPA® Awards has gained recognition as an international awards program in the hospitality and tourism industry, often referred to as the ‘Oscars of Hospitality’. The awards aim to establish a benchmark for excellence, propelling the hospitality industry to new heights. By honoring exceptional establishments and individuals, the awards celebrate their remarkable determination, resilience, and unwavering commitment to delivering excellence in the industry. The awards span two main categories: Hospitality & Tourism and F&B & Culinary Awards, acknowledging outstanding contributions in these respective fields.

After formally establishing a partnership at Taylor’s Lakeside Campus in September 2022, HAPA® and Taylor’s University have joined forces to enhance and extend the HAPA® Awards Series on both domestic and regional scales.
