Haier Malaysia has reinforced its position in the high-end appliance segment with the launch of the L+ Washing Machine, a premium AI-powered washer-dryer designed for modern households seeking smarter, more hygienic laundry solutions. The launch marks the beginning of an aggressive expansion in Haier’s premium product offerings, with 10 additional mid-to-high-end products slated for release in the second half of 2025.
Powered by heat pump technology and built with AI Smart Wash capabilities, the L+ Washing Machine is engineered to deliver a seamless laundry experience. With one-touch operation, it handles everything from delicate fabrics and children’s wear to bulky items like curtains and duvets. Key features include automatic stain detection, precision dosing for detergent and softener, and a high-capacity 607mm Super Drum Plus that accommodates large loads. The washer also includes drying functions that eliminate the need for separate machines.

The machine boasts 20 wash and 17 dry programs, with the ability to remove up to 26 common stains, including ink, lipstick, and soy sauce. Advanced filtration removes pet hair, dander, and allergens, while additional hygiene features such as UV sterilisation, mite removal, and Haier’s proprietary I-Refresh system ensure garments are not only clean but fresh and skin-friendly. A standout feature is the 10.1-inch LCD Smart Screen—the largest in its category—offering intuitive control and real-time performance monitoring.

Haier Malaysia’s Managing Director Fan Jing stated that the L+ Washing Machine reflects the company’s innovation-driven growth strategy. Following a strong Q1 2025, which saw a 20% increase in total revenue year-on-year and 21% growth in the washing machine category, the company is doubling down on smart appliances that align with evolving consumer needs.
The L+ Washing Machine retails at RM16,599 and is available at Haier Brand Shops and authorised retailers nationwide. In conjunction with its debut, customers can enjoy exclusive launch promotions: a special price of RM12,999 plus up to RM2,000 Touch ’n Go eWallet credit rebate from 22 to 25 May during the roadshow at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, and up to RM1,000 in rebates at select outlets from 26 May to 31 August 2025.
