Metrojaya has launched its new flagship store following six months of renovation, unveiling an innovative concept that embraces modern lifestyle merchandise and ambiance. In addition to its house brands–East India Company, Somerset Bay, Cape Cod, and Living Quarters–the lifestyle store features 51 other brands for ladies, gents, kids, and home, providing a complete range of merchandise across its 30,000 sq. ft. single-floor area.

Lifestyle features include a coffee and gelato café called Lusso Café and a customer lounge with a private fitting room and washroom, enhancing the customers’ experiential journey in Metrojaya.

In conjunction with Pink October, Metrojaya is partnering with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) to raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection. This collaboration underscores Metrojaya’s commitment to community service and social responsibility.

To mark the official opening, Metrojaya hosted an exclusive fashion show showcasing the latest collections from acclaimed brands such as East India Company, Indie Batik, Cape Cod, Somerset Bay, and Benjamin Barker.

Andrew Khoo, chairman and CEO of the MUI Group, said, “With the launch of this Metrojaya innovative lifestyle store, we are pioneering innovation in area adaptation, curating and developing brands, creating a unique ambiance with lights, sounds, and scents, and incorporating lifestyle features such as coffee bars.”

The group recently entered into joint ventures with Singaporean brands Kskin, a chain of Korean express facial studios, and Benjamin Barker, a smart menswear brand, to expand into Malaysia through shared synergies and resources.
