8th August 2024 will be a date to remember as Federation of Malaysian Business Associations or better known as FMBA will be organizing its prestigious Malaysia Industry Awards (MINDA) for its second year. MINDA is set to honor outstanding Entrepreneurs and their companies for achieving feats in building their businesses which subsequently enhance the country’s economy.
MINDA s began in 2023 due to the pressing needs in recognizing industry players who have not been given enough recognition amidst the tremendous effort put into mending, reviving and elevating their businesses after the pandemic. FMBA established MINDA with the support of its member associations to bring the industry players together and recognize the Awardees in their success.
Officiation of MINDA 2024
FMBA Chairman who is also Founder of D’Tandoori Food Industries, Kolonel Bersekutu (PA) Datuk Abdul Malik bin Abdullah said,” I am happy to see MINDA happening and appreciate the different member associations supporting the event as it will be a great platform to bring the business community together”. Datuk went on further to thank his Council members and specifically highlighted the Organizing Chairperson, Dr Sri Ganesh Michiel for championing the way to make the occasion possible.
Datuk also highlighted that 2024 has also reached another milestone because of the extensive Panel of Judges led by Chief Judge Tan Sri Dr. Palan Pro- Chancellor of the University of Cyberjaya. Amongst the other judges who have graciously volunteered in the panel are Dato’ Hajjah Emmy Suraya, Dato’ Sri Mohamed Nazir Meraslam, Datuk Grace Chia Hui Yen, and many more.

“Understanding the effort of the organizing committee, I wish to take this opportunity to thank the committee members and secretariat for coming together to make MINDA 2024 a reality. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the sponsors and all the parties who contributed to make MINDA 2024 a success.” said the Organizing Chairperson Dr Sri Ganesh Michiel.
Dr Sri Ganesh Michiel also mentioned that 2024 received applications from various parties up to entries of over 200 over nominations only to qualify to below 40 awardees. “I congratulate these Awardees who rightfully deserve these recognitions from FMBA. These companies have a great contribution to the industry in which they are acknowledged in front of over 200 associations and industry leaders representing more than 500,000 members” he said. He also added that this will be a night to remember as the awards are given by Guest of Honour, Deputy Prime Minister II Yang Amat Berhormat Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah Bin Haji Yusof along with Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDAC) Dato’ Ramanan Ramakrishnan.
