CAA-CBG APPOINTED TO LOOK TOWARDS COOPERATING WITH MALAYSIAN & SOUTHEAST ASIAN RETAILERS & MANUFACTURERS AS A NEW LICENSING AGENCY FOR SESAME STREET

Sesame Workshop has announced that CAA-CBG, headquartered in Hong Kong has been appointed as the new licensing agency for Sesame Street in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, including South Korea. CAA-CBG, the world’s leading brand management agency formed through a JV with Creative Artists Agency and Global Brands Group, will now be opening its door with retailers and manufacturers in its authorized regions to help extend the Sesame Street brand licensing campaign into various new categories such as education and children’s licensed product opportunities.

“Sesame Workshop’s mission is to help kids grow smarter, stronger and kinder,” said Whit Higgins, Senior Vice President of international media and education and distribution at Sesame Workshop. “We are thrilled to team up with CAA-GBG to create unique and powerful ways for fans to engage with the brand in South Korea and Southeast Asia and to further our mission.”

Meanwhile, CAA-CBG, who welcomes any collaborations with partners who are keen in expanding their Intellectual Property(IP) into new consumer product categories, experiences and territories, is open to working in a variety of business models including licensing, strategic partnerships and joint ventures.
