Perfection filled the air as The World Brands Foundation (TWBF) hosted the BrandLaureate World Halal BestBrands Awards 2024 and Bumiputera BestBrands Awards 2024 at The Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The event brought together top managers, entrepreneurs, and C-suite executives to celebrate brands that uphold community values.
The Halal Awards honored companies committed to quality and Islamic standards, while the Bumiputera Awards recognized innovative, resilient brands rooted in their culture and heritage. In his speech, Prof. Dr. KKJohan praised the winners’ determination and reflected on his 19-year journey with The BrandLaureate, emphasizing bold and courageous leadership.
The evening commenced with the BrandLaureate Brand ICON Leadership Awards 2024, honoring influential leaders who have redefined success with their skill, passion, and persistence. Notable recipients included YBhg Dato’ Seri Ibrahim Haji Ahmad of Brahim’s Dewina, singer and actress Ziana Zain, and Bon Zainal Harun of Bon Fashion Legacy.
Winners of the Halal Brand of the year
The BrandLaureate World Halal BestBrands Awards 2024 followed, celebrating Brand Leaders who have elevated the Halal industry globally. Winners included YBhg Datuk Hajah Hakimah Mohd Yusoff of JAKIM, Hairol Ariffein Sahari of HDC, and Shahzad Younas of Muzz App. Halal brands recognized for their excellence included Pringles, Yeo’s, Takaful IKHLAS, and BEKAL by Foodpanda.
Subsequently, Tthe BrandLaureate Bumiputera BestBrands Awards 2024 honored exceptional Bumiputera Brand Leaders such as Mohd Helmy Halim of MHH Condition Monitoring and Ahmad Ruzaini Mohamed of Print Expert. Remarkable Bumiputera brands like MATRADE, Teraju, and Woodfire Burger were also celebrated.
The BrandLaureate Bumiputera BestBrands Awards 2024 commenced by honoring exceptional Bumiputera Brand Leaders who have not only showcased entrepreneurial excellence but also successfully nurtured and advanced their businesses and brands. The Brand Leaders include Mohd Helmy Halim, Founder & Managing Director of MHH Condition Monitoring Sdn. Bhd. and Ahmad Ruzaini Mohamed, Managing Director of Print Expert Sdn Bhd.
