MFMA Development Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between Mitsui Fudosan Co. Ltd (Mitsui Fudosan) and Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (Malaysia Airports), Phase Three of Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA Sepang (MOP KLIA) was opened to the public on 24 April 2022. The 82,885 square feet expansion offers a wide range of contemporary home and living products such as OBJET and COURTS; popular concept stores by Adidas, Nike, and PUMA have also made their way to the Phase Three outlet. 

The newly introduced Adidas Factory Outlet and Puma Factory Outlet are South-East Asia’s largest stores, while Nike Unite KLIA brings a new kind of shopping experience that reflects the local community where they offer premium tier product offerings across various sports categories.

Deputy Managing Director of MFMA, TJ Cheah, also made his appearance during the opening of the Phase Three expansion where he mentioned that the launch of the Phase Three will increase the footfall traffic at the mall. TJ Cheah stated, “MOP KLIA is fast gaining popularity as the shopping destination for branded goods, and the mall has seen a tremendous increase in its in-store traffic over the years. MOP KLIA’s footfall  increased during the last holiday season, which led to the success of its year-end sale that lasted from December 2021 until mid – January this year.”
