With outdoor filming being allowed in states under Phase Two of the National Recovery Plan, the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS) is reminding all drama, advertisement, and documentary production companies to comply with SOPs that the government has implied at all times.
He then thanked KKMM Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah for supporting strategies, initiatives, and policies to allow filming activities to be carried out under a systematic, controlled, and enhanced environment during the National Recovery Plan implementation period.
FINAS Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ahmad Idham Ahmad Nadzri said that filming in the Phase Two states must be conducted in an isolated, restricted, and controlled manner aligned with the Filming Bubble Protocol. He mentioned that the relaxation was a concentrated effort by the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia (KKMM) and FINAS to control the risk of Covid-19 infections.
