Walking into a Guardian pharmacy, people can often be overwhelmed with the varieties and options that are presented to them. With so many products to choose from, how will consumers know which products are the best? Fret not, as Guardian Malaysia will be hosting the Guardian Awards 2021 – The Best in Health & Beauty, a brand appreciation contest where the winners are determined by customers.
“At Guardian, the customer is at the heart of everything that we do. We listen to their needs and are mindful of delivering a healthy kind of beauty that is also affordable for them. We also feel that our customers know best and are the experts when it comes to finding out which brands work for them. Hence, our purpose in holding the Guardian Awards 2021 – The Best in Health & Beauty this year,” said, Anna Ng, Brand Marketing Director, SEA, Guardian Health And Beauty.
Over 107 brands with over 410 products will be taking part in the competition to claim 75 awards in six categories – Best Newcomer, Most Voted Influencers Choice, Cosmetics, Skin Care, Personal Care, and Health Care. Though the others are self-explanatory, the Best Newcomer category will showcase brands that have only recently been introduced to Guardian. For the Most Voted Influencers Choice award, on the other hand, Guardian has invited seven well-known influencers to vote for their favorite brands in selected categories.
Below are the influencers and the category they will be voting for:
- Izzue Islam, Actor and Singer – Male Health Care
- Joe Chang, Radio Announcer and Host – Male Personal Care
- Bella Khan, Lifestyle and Beauty YouTuber – Female Personal Care
- Coco, Lifestyle and Beauty YouTuber – Female Personal Care
- Anna Khayalan, Digital Content Producer – Female Skincare
- Nurul Hazirah, Professional Make-up Artist – Female Make-up
- Elecher Lee, Beauty Queen and Content Creator – Female Health Care
Customers can participate in this contest for free and it is open to everyone above the age of 18. No purchase is required to vote; after voting, each voter will be provided with an RM10 e-voucher that can be redeemed at the Guardian Online Store with a minimum spend of RM100 in a single receipt during the period of this contest. On top of that, all voters also stand a chance to win one of 64 prizes worth RM50,000 in total. The Grand Prize is a VESPA PRIMAVERA S150.
