The dynamic new anthem is set to energize and support our Malaysian contingent as they make their way to the upcoming Olympic Games 2024 in Paris, while also honoring our “Jiwa Merdeka” spirit for National Day.
“Anak Malaysia” is a collaborative masterpiece, composed and written by Iqie Hugh, Mage, Fahimi, SAIXSE, and Mambang. In an innovative twist, artificial intelligence (AI) was also utilized to compose YB Altimet’s lyrics, showcasing the fusion of technology and artistry in modern music production. With a compelling mix of genres and styles, the song truly embodies the spirit of unity and determination, while perfectly capturing the essence of our Malaysian pride.
“This anthem is more than just a song; it’s a rallying cry for our athletes and fellow Malaysians. No matter where we are and what we do, we’ll always be proud of being ‘Anak Malaysia’,” says YB Altimet. “We wanted to create something that would not only motivate our athletes but also resonate and inspire the “Jiwa Merdeka” spirit ahead of our National Day celebrations too,” adds Mage, the song’s producer.

This powerful track, a symbol of national pride and unity, will be available on all major digital streaming platforms from July 26, while the music video (directed by Fareez Nasir), will debut on the same day at 12pm on Faithful Music’s YouTube channel (youtube.com/@faithfulmusicmy).
