MalaysiaCarnival Virtual 2021

Malaysia’s first online carnival, the MalaysiaCarnival Virtual 2021 was officially announced to take place from 6 August to 15 August 2021 that will benefit local businesses that have struggled to stay afloat during this pandemic. The virtual carnival was created to bring vendors, entertainment, and various activities to consumers at home through a newly developed homegrown high-tech virtual platform. In this regard, the MalaysiaCarnival Virtual 2021 will be making its Pre-Launch Ceremony along with 70 Virtual Exhibitors on Sunday, 8th of August 2021 at 8pm.

The “Do Something Good” charity event will also take place as part of the carnival. The charity event is a collaborative effort between partners, volunteers, talents, media, NGOs, as well as willing contributors, to raise funds for families in need of food and daily necessities. They aim to raise RM20,000 from this initiative and be able to provide relief to at least 200 families.

This event is made possible by Miss Malaysia Kebaya (MMK), led by its President & Founder Dr. Jason Hee Jee Pin and business partner Nicole Fe Lynne, along with its main sponsors – Virtualtech Frontier (VTF) and Recur Consult. Together, the sponsors have to design gamification frameworks for MalaysiaCarnival Virtual, including the seamless virtual environment, interactive game elements, and onboarding experience.   VTF is confident that the gamified features and activities in this event will provide an enjoyable experience for people of all ages.

The best part is that the admission to the carnival and setting up booths at the MalaysiaCarnival Virtual 2021 is free of charge. Vendors are welcomed to take up virtual booths at the carnival with no upfront charges; in exchange, they would be required to provide their products and services for giveaways and lucky draws, as well as a small percentage (negotiable) from the sales that they make.
