Telling the stories of 5 inspiring tales on the sacrifices and spirit in fighting COVID-19, JUANG came from the hearts and perspectives of our nation’s five prolific filmmakers, Aziz M. Osman, Datuk Yusry Abdul Halim, Matt Lai, Kabir Bhatia and Osman Ali as a tribute and token of appreciation towards Malaysia’s irreplaceable front liners.

The film takes the audience through the lens and perspectives on the situation of the COVID 19 pandemic that hit the world two years ago. It showcases heartbreaking stories faced by the front liners such as the police, doctors, nurses,
soldiers and delivery riders in ensuring the safety of Malaysians.

This film has also broken a record, for the ‘Most Movie Casts In A Feature Film’ by the Malaysia Book of Records, with the involvement of more than 500 local entertainment industry players. Another record was achieved when Malaysia-founded Asian digital media group WebTVAsia, also one of JUANG’s executive producers, launched a series of limited edition JUANG Non-Fungible Token (NFT) collections, as the first ever charity movie NFT in Malaysia.

Zizan Razak

Datuk Sheila Majid expressed her vocals through ‘Wira Hatiku,’ the heartwarming theme song of the movie, arranged by the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO). Not only that, their other theme song involved the uniqueness of the Nation’s No. 1 Singer,  Dato’ Seri Siti Nurhaliza in ‘Sama Sama.’

Movie fanatics can catch the movie now premiering in Malaysian cinemas nationwide starting 8 September.
