Iskandar Mirza Mohd Yusof, Senior Director – Domestic & Events Division of Tourism Malaysia, graced the launch of the Me’nate Steak Hub’s (Me’nate) Merdeka Meat Fiesta 2022 campaign, as an effort to inspire the rakyat to express their patriotic spirits as the national independence day approaches. The launch event was held concurrently with the Grand Opening of Me’nate Steak Hub’s 10th outlet at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara – its first outlet within a shopping mall.
Hosted by celebrity emcees – Keanu Azman from Hitz FM and Aki Chan from MY FM, the Grand Opening of Me’nate Steak Hub’s 10th outlet portrayed Me’nate’s dedication to encouraging industry players and the public to openly showcase their culture and traditions to make for an extravagant Merdeka celebration this year. This is especially important for Malaysians, given that 2022 marks the first year of its transition into the endemic phase. As such, Me’nate has commenced the Merdeka Meat Fiesta 2022 to commemorate this incredible journey that has united Malaysia through the toughest challenges.

As part of the Merdeka Meat Fiesta 2022 campaign, Me’nate is displaying patriotism by introducing its take on special localized dishes such as the Malaysian Daging Bakar, Merdeka Fried Quail, and Lamb Jalur Gemilang, paired with several signature Malaysian sauces. The renowned home-grown steakhouse has also incorporated beverages to suit the theme, including – Kopi Tarik, Teh Tarik, Bandung Bunga Raya, and Soda Kebangsaan. These Merdeka-themed dishes are attainable at all Me’nate Steak Hub outlets throughout the nation until 16 September 2022.
