JOOX has asked Malaysian music fans to vote for their favorite songs and artists for the Top Music Awards Malaysia (Mid Year) 2021, and the results are here. The music streaming platform revealed that Malaysia has contributed a whopping 126 million votes for the awards, making it a massive ten-fold increase from 2020. Khai Bahar emerges as Malaysian music lovers’ top pick, receiving 15.6 million votes in the Top Fans Pick chart as voted by fans.
This year, 22 JOOX ROOMS were hosted where fans got to meet and interact with their favorite artists virtually. As a token of gratitude for their votes, the Top Music Awards Malaysia winners – Khai Bahar, Naim Daniel, Naqiu, Vanessa Reynauld, Jaz, One Avenue Band, Reedzwann, and Ukays, returned to JOOX ROOMS to bring smiles to all of their fans on 30 & 31 July 2021.
