On 24 July 2023, Goddess of Nature Malaysia announced its cooperation with TVB’s Miss Chinese International Campaign where the winner will represent Malaysia and compete with other beauty queens worldwide. Formerly known as Miss Chinese International Pageant, founded by TVB in Hong Kong in 1988, the pageant was created to serve as a platform for Chinese-American beauties to be represented and participate in a worldwide competition as well as explore opportunities to enter the entertainment industry in Hong Kong.
Eric Tsang, TVB’s General Manager announced that the Miss Chinese International Campaign would resume after being put on hold for the past few years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This news brought excitement to the world of beauty pageants and raised the expectation of Chinese beauties all over the world who were ready to compete.
Goddess of Nature Malaysia, hosted by RS SIS Management, expressed the intention to inspire young women in Malaysia to realize their dreams and to always reach for the stars. The official signing of the memorandum coincided with TVB Miss Chinese International Campaign as they sent representatives to participate in the campaign.
The founder of RS SIS Management, Summer Lau said, “Goddess of Nature Malaysia aims to break the public’s stereotypes of beauty pageants, because beauty should not be dominated by appearance, and the true definition of “Goddess” is the equal emphasis on appearance, connotation, intelligence, and talent.”
Lau also expressed her gratitude towards TVB for their trust and the opportunity for her to create and grow the pageant into what it is today. Dato’ Seri Tiong King Sing, the Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture.
The event was attended by to celebrate the event as well as witness the signing ceremony of the memorandum that marks the official collaboration between Goddess of Nature Malaysia and TVB’s Miss Chinese International. Among the exciting announcements, there is speculation that one of the esteemed judges for the pageant during the final round is a famous Hong Kong-based actor.
