Globally-recognized, the King of Beauty Pageants, Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi has just made history by successfully being the first to organize a beauty pageant such as the 4th Miss Chinese World 2021/22 on a spectacular 3D virtual stage on 18th August 2021. The prestigious virtual beauty pageant was organized by D’Touch International, along with project partners, OE Edutech, as well as with joint organizers, Less Than 3 and Flux Broadcast & Multimedia. The show was hosted by celebrity hosts – Wong Chui Ling, Benjamin Yap, Joey Ong and Adelina Chan. The panel of esteemed judges were also no strangers to the 35k facebook live audiences on the Miss Chinese World and 8TV Facebook Pages, namely Dato’ (Dr.) Calvin Khiu, Amber Chia, Jonathan Chew, Lunarcia Loh Ming Yue and Andrew Toh. During the evening, special celebrity performers also brightened up the virtual pageant – Kif Valentine (World Class Harmonica Maestro), Dr. Joanne Yeoh (Award-Winning Violinist) accompanied by pianist David Cha, and also a vocal performance by Carrine Lee (Miss Malaysia Tourism Queen of the Year 2017).
The great evening, specially set the incredible stage for the Virtual World Finals of the Miss Chinese World 2021/22, which attracted 24 oriental beauties representing various cities across the world, including Jiangsu, Bangkok, Siem Reap and Hong Kong.
The highlight of the evening was taken away by the Taiwan beauty, Maggie Kao (高曼容), 24, from Taipei City, which was pronounced the winner of the 4th edition of Miss Chinese World 2021 Virtual World Final, themed “The Beauty of Hearts, The World of Wisdom” (美丽智慧,飞跃全球). Aun Li Ying (安俐颖), 21, from Johor, Malaysia won the first runner-up while Indonesia’s Aldora Helsa Goewyn (吴青霞), 24, who picked up the second runner-up title. The Miss Chinese World winners walked away with prizes totalling more than RM8,000 in cash and sponsored products. Apart from the prestigious title, the three crowned winners will receive a full diploma / degree scholarship of their choice from Peninsula College @ The Ship Campus, Penang, worth up to RM 189,000 in total, for a period of 2 to 3 years. Also making it into the Top 5 were delegates Alicia Vidal Meng (孟雅芳) from China and Farsay Douangpanya (张圆) from Laos.
“This virtual stage deserves a salute to Flux’s expertise. They really are at the forefront. All 24 delegates performed very well, but most important of all, is friendship. I hope all ladies will keep in touch with each other.
