Jom Raya Kaw Kaw at Resorts World Genting
Hari Raya festivities arrived early at Resorts World Genting (RWG). From 1 April until 14 April 2024, there was a vibrant celebration showcasing the beauty of familial bonds of Malay heritage.
Guests got to experience the joy of the season with RWG’s modern-meets-traditional decorations featuring a colorful array of green, teal, pink, and yellow hues, adorned with stunning blooms and a picturesque mini pavilion at Kimhua Atrium. In addition to this, at RWA’s Atrium the picturesque horticultural exhibits were perfect for photography enthusiasts.
At the Kimhua Atrium, guests also found themselves soaking in the festive entertainment such as the meet and greet sessions with the Ketupat mascot as well as lively performances that were held daily. While soaking in the festive ambiance, guests indulged in shopping at the Raya mini bazaar filled with perfumes, candies, seasonal snacks, and more from various vendors, with a Raya-themed sand art area to keep kids entertained.

Food is a staple for Raya festivities, hence the delectable Raya feasts at Jom Makan, SkyAvenue Level G which featured super value sets during the Raya week. Meanwhile, Jom Makan Street Food, presented a special set menu from 10 – 14 April. Additionally, Flavors of Genting offered new creations, such as the “Onde-Onde cookies” and “Dates with Almond cookies,” that were available exclusively for GRC members and non-members. Guests were presented with a variety of cuisine ranging from the rich flavors of Nasi Arab Dulang, traditional Malay delicacies from the East Coast, and a grand buffet spread curated by an Executive Chef, Ahmad Rosnie.
