MALAYSIA SCORES 11 WINS AT THE PRESTIGIOUS PROPERTYGURU ASIA PROPERTY AWARDS GRAND FINAL

Zhuhai Huafa Properties Co., Ltd. earned the prestigious title of Best Developer in Asia

The 19th Annual PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final, presented in partnership with V-ZUG Thailand, celebrated Asia’s premier real estate and top-tier developers at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok. Concluding the 2024 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards series, the event showcased over 130 award-winning finalists, highlighting their accomplishments on a global platform. 

Malaysia celebrated 11 wins, with notable victories for Bangsar Heights Pavilion, Berinda Group, City Motors Group, Eupe Corporation Berhad, Gunung Impian Development Sdn Bhd, and Sime Darby Property Berhad. Additional winners included Malton Berhad, JLand Group Sdn Bhd, Tropicana Corporation Berhad, and Triterra Sdn Bhd.

Zhuhai Huafa Properties Co., Ltd. earned the prestigious title of Best Developer in Asia, marking a milestone for the company and contributing to five awards for Mainland China. Other notable Chinese winners included Lead8 for its MixC Changchun and K11 Shanghai projects, Jiang & Associates Creative Design for ALIBABA BEIJING CHAOYANG SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY PARK, and Sybarite for SKP Chengdu.

Developers from Hong Kong and Macau secured four titles, including China Resources Land (Overseas) Limited and Poly Property (Hong Kong) Co., Limited for PANO HARBOUR, Lek Hang Group for Hotel Central Macau, Lofter Group Limited for 1 Ki Lung Street, and New Orient Group for San Tung Fong Commercial Inn North Wing.

The Philippines emerged as the most awarded market with 12 accolades, including Best Luxury Developer (Asia) for Federal Land, Inc., which also won for Riverpark. Federal Land NRE Global, Inc. was named Best Breakthrough Developer (Asia), while Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates received Best Industrial Developer (Asia) for LIMA Estate. Other Philippine winners included RLC Residences, Robinsons Offices, workable, Alveo Land, and Sunshine Fort North Bonifacio Realty Development Corporation. The Estate Makati, a collaboration between SMDC and Federal Land, received dual titles, while the PropertyGuru Icon Award honored Henry T. Sy, Jr., chairman of SM Prime Holdings.

Indonesia and Singapore each earned eight titles. Paramount Land and Sinar Mas Land were standout winners for Indonesia, while UOL Group Limited dominated Singapore with sustainable and hospitality awards. Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, and Saudi Arabia also gained recognition for innovative projects and contributions to the property sector.
