I-Berhad, the visionary developer behind Malaysia’s leading digital city, i-City, has further strengthened its strategic partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel franchisor by property count. This collaboration was formalized during a signing ceremony to establish Wyndham Garden at i-City, accompanied by the unveiling of SkyCity—a remarkable 60-meter tower featuring an exhilarating 600-meter glass slide.
This significant milestone marks the second collaboration between I-Berhad and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, building on the success of Wyndham Suites KLCC, which debuted in September 2023. The partnership underscores I-Berhad’s steadfast commitment to elevating Malaysia’s hospitality and leisure landscape to international standards. I-Berhad Chairman, Tan Sri Lim Kim Hong, highlighted the importance of family-oriented travel experiences, noting that 13.7% of Malaysian travelers value “family fun and friendly” activities as integral to their travel preferences.
