Based on the statistics from the Ministry of Health (MOH), Perak currently has 71.2% of the population to be vaccinated. This shows that many others who lives in the rural area did not have the chance to be vaccinated. Therefore, having outreach programmes such as mobile clinics can be helpful as it can bring the vaccination to them.

Dato Jimmy Doh, Managing Director of Lagenda Properties mentioned that “Herd immunity is crucial for us to get back to some sense of normalcy. The vaccination rates are encouraging but we do find that there are many individuals who need accessible healthcare services, such as those in nursing homes and in rural communities.”
With the help of the Perak State Government, it is possible to roll out the vaccination to them through as these mobile vaccination clinics will travel to the nursing homes and rural communities. With this Lagenda Properties has been putting a lot of efforts with investing RM3000,00 into refurbishing busses that will be used as mobile vaccination clinics.
Since vaccine doses are procured from the State Government, in August 2021, the mobile vaccination clinics manage to complete up to 12,000 vaccinations and this contributed to the “Perak Vaccination Drive” in the fight against Covid 19.
