The pursuit of cultural heritage, female empowerment, and international unity took center stage as Zulimire Tuerxun, a 24-year-old fashion model representing Xinjiang, China, was crowned Miss Chinese World 2026 at the prestigious pageant finale held at Berjaya Times Square Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on May 30, 2026.
Standing at 178cm (5’10”), Zulimire emerged as the winner among 18 contestants representing countries and regions across the globe. Her victory earned her a RM10,000 cash prize alongside sponsored prizes, including products from Royal Scent and Dragon Ginseng.
The competition saw Phatcharamon Thepraksa, a 19-year-old influencer representing Nonthaburi, Thailand, securing the first runner-up title, while Bernice Yuen, a 21-year-old student from Hong Kong, was named the second runner-up.

Reflecting on her victory, Zulimire described the moment as “overwhelmingly surreal”.
“I feel this is unreal, none of this is real,” she expressed disbelief, adding that her relentless effort to push through challenges paid off.
“I think it was all worth the hard work.”
“I feel truly proud and honoured to hold the title,” said Zulimire, who credits her success to her supportive family.
For first runner-up Phatcharamon, the journey itself was a meaningful achievement shaped by dedication and perseverance.
“The moment I stepped foot in Malaysia, I dedicated myself to doing my best,” she said.
She also expressed gratitude to her supporters, especially her fan club, for their unwavering encouragement throughout the competition.
