Touch ‘n Go Group recently announced the winners of the first two cycles of its Touch ‘n Go RFID Free Toll Contest where 16 lucky RFID users were selected to win a year’s worth of free toll.
The contest which runs till 18 November 2022, is open to all Malaysians above 18 who drive Class 1 private-owned vehicles. The Touch ‘n Go RFID Free Toll Contest can be joined by anyone by activating their Touch ‘n Go RFID and using it at least 5 times during the contest period. During each cycle of 2 weeks, 8 winners will be selected. In total, there will be five cycles where 40 winners will win a year of free toll.
Prabakaran Sangarajoo, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Touch ‘n Go Group was on hand to congratulate the winners, “We would like to congratulate our first and second round of winners of the Free Toll contest. The contest is designed to reward our Touch ‘n Go RFID users and we strongly encourage anyone who has yet to get themselves an RFID tag, to try it out and experience this convenient payment method while going through tolls or for fuelling. We have 3 more cycles to go, with 8 winners selected per cycle. So, there is plenty of opportunity to win a year of free toll travel.”
Touch ‘n Go RFID can also be used by users to pay for petrol at selected Shell stations across the country. There are RFID designated fuelling bays where users simply need to park their vehicles at before the payment is auto-debited from their Touch n’ Go eWallets. After the refuelling the vehicles, the unutilised amount will be immediately refunded to their account.
The Touch ‘n Go RFID tags can be purchased at the Touch ‘n Go NU Sentral and Bangsar South service and sales centres, designated RFID fitment centres, and at selected petrol stations across Malaysia. They are also available for online purchase via the Touch ‘n Go RFID portal, official Touch ‘n Go stores on Lazada and Shopee, as well as the Touch ‘n Go eWallet. Users will receive RM8 cashback for purchases via the Touch ‘n Go eWallet and a RM8 reload pin for purchases via the RFID portal during the campaign period.
