Malaysia is set to take the spotlight in the world of pageantry by hosting the prestigious Miss Tourism International 2024 World Final. This highly anticipated event will take place at the elegant Sunway Resort Hotel from November 29th to December 15th, 2024, with the grand coronation night scheduled for December 13th, 2024.
Founded in 1994 by Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi, President and Founder, Miss Tourism International had its first world final in Kuching, Sarawak. What began as a small pageant with 25 participating countries has grown into a global sensation, now franchised and licensed in over 120 countries.
This year marks a remarkable milestone as Miss Tourism International celebrates its 30th anniversary. The 2024 edition will bring together 44-50 participating countries from five continents, showcasing three decades of excellence in promoting tourism and cultural exchange worldwide.

Guided by the mission of “Promoting Tourism, Culture, and Friendship,” delegates will immerse themselves in Malaysia’s vibrant sights, sounds, and cultural heritage. The 2024 World Final also aligns with the upcoming Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign, serving as a platform to spotlight the nation’s diverse attractions to a global audience.
The Miss Tourism International 2024 World Final enjoys strong backing from the Ministry of Culture, Arts, and Tourism Malaysia, along with Tourism Malaysia and various corporate partners. OE EduGroup proudly organizes this year’s event, with the Sunway Resort Hotel as the Official World Final Venue and the Sunway Pyramid Hotel serving as the Official Hotel for the delegates.
With the theme “Bringing the World to Malaysia,” the 44-50 participating delegates will take part in various activities aimed at promoting tourism, charity, and cultural exchange. These include visits to renowned tourist attractions, charity programs, and promotional events designed to elevate Malaysia’s profile as a leading travel destination in anticipation of Visit Malaysia 2026.

In addition to the coveted Miss Tourism International title, which will be awarded on December 13, 2024, contestants will also compete for four other Miss Tourism Pageant titles and two special awards.
