Aina Abdul wins Best Song at AJL37
Malaysia singer and songwriter, Aina Abdul earned the top prize of RM100,000 in Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL37) as she won the Best Song Award for her own composition , ‘Terus Hidup’. Aina, 29, hailing from Seremban was also awarded the RM12,000 Best Vocals award, as she did last year.
“This is a most beautiful and surreal night for me. Thank you so much dearest fans and friends, for supporting me all these years. Thank you too, all me beloved mentors who have guided me well,” she said in her acceptance speech.
‘Satu Malam Di Temasek’ performed, written and composed by Joe Flizzow and SonaOne was the first runner- up while ‘Anugerah Terindah’ performed by Alif Satar And The Locos and written and composed by Alif Satar, Romeo, Tam Cobain, Efry Arwis, Shah Shamshiri and Romeo was the second runner-up. The songs won RM50,000 and RM30,000 respectively.
Khai Bahar grabs the Popular Singer award for his song Sengsara
On the other hand, Khai Bahar won RM12,000 for Popular Singer for his song Sengsara based on fans’ votes and sponsored by cosmetics company Alha Alfa. The annual song competition, co-hosted by Sherry Alhadad and Jihan Muse was broadcast live from the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil at 9pm on TV3.
Gracing the event were Communications and Digital Minister YB Fahmi Fadzil and Deputy Minister YB Teo Nie Ching.

The show themed Dimensi Muzik also featured performances by Azlan And The Typewriter, De Fam, Wany Hasrita, Kaka Azraff, Syamel Fodzly, Tuju, Loca B, Waris, Exists, Blues Gang and Kugiran Masdo.
Since its inception in 1986, AJL has honoured the year’s best songs, composers, lyricists and vocalists based on the weekly chart show Muzik Muzik.
