Yong Ke Ling has been crowned the Winner of Miss CosmoWorld 2024 receiving the grand prize of RM189,435 along with Y.M Tengku Dato’ Dr. Hishammuddin Zaizi Bin Y.A.M Tengku Bendahara Azman Shah Alhaj and Ms. Carrie Lee, Founder of Miss CosmoWorld.
20-year-old Miss Yong Ke Ling claimed the coveted title of Miss CosmoWorld Malaysia 2024 at the highly anticipated 8th Grand Final, held at JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur. Organized by CL Skin Sdn. Bhd and founded by celebrity Carrie Lee Sze Kei, the pageant celebrates Malaysia’s most remarkable young women, honoring not only beauty but also intelligence, talent, and individuality.
The prestigious evening welcomed Guest of Honor Y.M Tengku Dato’ Dr. Hishammuddin Zaizi and VIPs, including Erra Fazira, Nur Ruhainies, and Carmen Soo. Miss CosmoWorld 2024 embraced a fresh approach to pageantry, focusing on empowerment training in fitness, public speaking, and leadership. The competition highlighted the contestants’ patriotism, resilience, and passion, with finalists selected for the 27th October Grand Finals, and over 30 international contestants joining on 20th November, 2024.
Y.M Tengku Dato’ Dr. Hishammuddin Zaizi commented, “Miss CosmoWorld has always been a great platform to promote to the global stage young Malaysian ladies who possess not only beauty but also skills that go beyond their looks. This pageant is also an opportunity to showcase Malaysia as a country with capable young ladies from diverse cultures and backgrounds who are unafraid to lead and take on future challenges.”

As an advocate for women’s empowerment, Carrie Lee hopes her initiative will foster independence among participants and develop their leadership skills. By sharing valuable lessons from her entrepreneurial journey, she equips them with tools to use beyond the competition.
Yong received a substantial cash prize and gifts totaling RM 200,000 to support her business ideas, underscoring Miss CosmoWorld’s commitment to fostering successful female entrepreneurs. She will represent Malaysia in the International World Final on November 20, 2024, at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur.
