The iconic city center, Suria KLCC an experiential shopping destination, is set to captivate visitors with its enchanting Christmas celebration, ‘Gingerbread Christmas Village.’ Running from 24 November 2023 to 1 January 2024, drawing inspiration from the cherished tradition of making gingerbread men and gingerbread houses during the festive season. Shoppers are welcomed into the magical Gingerbread Christmas Village at the Center Court, featuring Gingerbread buildings adorned with delectable “icing” and candy-colored decorations.
A magnificent Gingerbread Clock Tower stands tall as the centerpiece comes to life as a Gingerbread Man dances to festive music when the clock strikes each hour. The village journey continues with the Gingerbread Toyshop, where an array of toys and gifts await accompanied by a festive photobooth for creating lasting memories.
As a part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives this Christmas, Suria KLCC is donating RM3,000 to the Dignity for Children Foundation, adding warmth and goodwill to the festive season. Throughout the celebration period, shoppers can participate in a fun Gingerbread Man Personality Quiz to unveil their persona and receive a limited-edition Gingerbread Man pin.
At Esplanade KLCC, visitors can be enchanted by Malaysia’s tallest Christmas tree, adorned with charming Gingerbread-themed ornaments. During weekends there will be special appearances by Santa Claus and Ms. Claus will no doubt delight young and old alike. To add to the festive cheer, shoppers who spend RM1,500 and above in 2 receipts are rewarded with an RM100 Suria KLCC Shopping e-Voucher.

As for the Alamanda Shopping Centre, Putrajaya, the ‘Gingerbread Christmas Village’ also becomes the year-end holiday theme. Running from 24 November 2023 to 1 January 2024, the Centre Court transforms into a festive haven with vibrant decorations.
During the celebration period, plenty of activities are slated on the weekends and on Christmas Day to keep adults and children alike entertained. Among the activities include dance performances, magic shows, marching band performances as well as Santa unicycling and juggling. VIKids will be able to take part in an exclusive activity where they can unleash their creativity by crafting gingerbread houses using popsicle sticks.
Shoppers who spend RM500 and above in two receipts at any specialty store will receive an RM30 Alamanda Shopping Voucher via its Shoppers Rewards Programme. Meanwhile, high spenders who spend RM1,500 and above get vouchers worth RM80.
To add on in the Mesra Mall, Terengganu, the Christmas spirit comes alive with the theme of ‘Gingerbread Christmas Village’ from 1 to 31 December. During this period, shoppers who spend RM350 and above in two receipts at any specialty store can redeem an exclusive Mesra Mall 2024 Planner, limited to 500 redemptions.
Mesra Mall is hosting the VIKids Science Workshop from 21 to 25 December. The workshop, set up like a mini laboratory, presents VIKids with six engaging science-based activities. Upon completion, participants will be rewarded with a Science Experiment Kit, adding an educational touch to their year-end celebrations.
