The Miss Tourism International 2024/25 crown was awarded to Yana Barrido of the Philippines at a spectacular event held on December 13th 2024, at the Grand Lagoon Ballroom, Sunway Resort Hotel, officiated by YAM Tengku Laksamana Selangor, His Highness Prince Sulaiman Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj. The pageant, presented by OE EduGroup, showcased the elegance and talent of 40 international delegates while promoting Malaysia as a premier global travel destination.

The event was supported by the Ministry of Culture, Arts, and Tourism Malaysia, Tourism Malaysia, and an array of corporate partners. With the theme “Bringing the World to Malaysia,” the 2024 World Final celebrated 30 years of empowering women as global tourism ambassadors and highlighted Malaysia’s vibrant culture, scenic attractions such as the Petronas Twin Towers, Dataran Merdeka, and KL Tower, and their commitment to fostering meaningful international connections.
