A cultural celebration like no other took place at the Ground Floor Symphony East, IOI City Mall Putrajaya, with the unveiling of two monumental murals honoring Argentinian football legends Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi. Crafted by acclaimed Argentinian muralist Cesar Damián Daiz, the event underscored the strong ties between Malaysia and Argentina.
Renowned for his dynamic and emotive artistry, Mr. Daiz masterfully captured Argentina’s rich football legacy through these murals. Diego Maradona, emblematic of passion and creativity, stands immortalized alongside Lionel Messi, celebrated for his brilliance, humility, and enduring excellence.

The unveiling was graced by YB Hannah Yeoh, Minister of Youth and Sport alongside Her Excellency Marta Laura Gabrieloni, Ambassador of Argentina alongside an impressive array of distinguished guests, including Her Excellency Luis Javier Campuzano, Ambassador of Mexico, Her Excellency Florentino Batista Gonzalez, Ambassador of Cuba, Dr. Mubarak Saeed Al Dhaheri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, and other esteemed figures.
Mr. Daiz’s artistry was further highlighted in an exhibition running from December 8th to 24th at the Ground Floor Centre. Visitors explored his curated collection and gained insight into his creative process and artistic journey, as he shared his passion for mural art.
